FAQS
You Ask. I Answer.
HOW LONG SHOULD BODY HAIR BE FOR MY WAXING SERVICE?
As a general rule of thumb, I recommend body hair be at least 1/4" in length for the wax to properly grab the hair. Imagine the length of a grain of rice for us visual peeps out there!
The service can be done when it is on the shorter side, but please be cautioned that it can cause more sensitivity and irritation and you may not receive the best quality wax.
Regular waxes are recommended every 3-5 weeks to maintain the smoothest results.
DOES IT HURT?
The short answer is, yes. Hair removal is going to be a sensitive topic, but oh so worth it.
As with most things, pain is all about personal perception.
I do let my guests know that the very first wax is always going to be the worst but stick with it.
Waxing regularly keeps your body hair on the same growth cycle ensuring smooth results for weeks. The longer you stick to a routine, you'll notice softer hair and may even notice less density over time.
WHAT IF ITS THAT TIME OF THE MONTH?
Not a problem! We can still perform your service, just be sure to have a tampon or cup in to avoid any accidents.
Be aware that you may experience extra sensitivity when waxing during your cycle.
